One of the changes generating the most buzz in the next patch down the line, the not-yet-publicly-named Patch 9.2.5, is the introduction of cross-faction play. Traditionally Horde and Alliance players have been unable to join groups with each other, except in Mercenary Mode in PvP, which allows players to enter unrated battlegrounds disguised as the other faction to keep queue times down.
Battlefield 2042 4.1 focuses on further fixes and improvements to the last major patch. Battlefield 2042 4.1 tweaks the power of Boris and his Sentry Gun. The patch also weaves in changes to base recoil to improve stock weapon handling.
Elsewhere, Battlefield 2042 4.1 updates the All-Out Warfare playlists with Breakthrough 128, leaving the list on PC and next-gen consoles. The patch also reveals that Season 1 will start in early June.
